I am on Entrecard and used to try to drop 100 cards a day for both my blogs. It just seemed like such a waste of time to me so now I just focus on visiting fewer blogs through my blogrolls, SITS (just joined recently) and the ones I follow and commenting along the way. I still use Entrecard too but not nearly as much. It seems like you just need to take off some pressure and don't push yourself so much concerning blogging (which is hard for a perfectionist, I know). Just make it 3rd or 4th priority and do it because you enjoy it, not to make money. Finding that balance between real life and being online is difficult. I've thought about unplugging this glowing tube and selling it off at times. It's now 1:30 a.m. and I've finished a short post on one of my (two) blogs, checked e-mail, and now I'm perusing other folks' blogs. I'm supposed to be wrapping up a book - only two chapters to go but I find myself distracted by the blogging diversion. Living in Minnesota the winters are unbearabley long!! Anyway it has turned into a wonderful outlet for me. I have met so many new friends and now I have a voice in the world. I probably will never stop blogging. I think as long as you provide balance/limits for yourself, blogging can be a great way to keep connected, scrapbook, voice your opinions etc...all in one place.
