Twilight Was Amazing

OK, so I just saw the movie Twilight and I need some other people to gush with. So c’mon, if you saw the movie, let’s gush together.
My husband saw the movie with me, but ya know, he’s a guy and he didn’t read the books, so he’s just all like, “{shrug} Yeah it was a good movie.”
And I’m all like, “HOLY SHIT, that was the best book-to-movie conversion I’ve EVER seen and the tension was so well-done and they really didn’t leave out anything major although I might have liked to have seen the scene where they were blood typing in Biology class and every time a new character appeared on screen they were just the way I pictured them – it was so well-cast! – except maybe for Esme, I think she shoulda looked a little older, but Jacob was seriously exactly like I pictured him and so was Charlie and that Robert Pattinson is way hotter now than he was in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, I just kept laughing at the expressions on his face – such a good portrayal of what he was feeling in the book….”

really? I’ve seen it twice now. I was so disappointed the first time, from such a poor adaptation- that I gave it a second shot. I found myself more graceful with it, and feel its “good” standing alone, but in comparison to the book it’s not at all…

I loved it & I thought it was good from a book to a movie. They always leave out a lot, but I think this one did a good job. I didn’t like Esme before I saw the movie, did a little better in the movie. I just don’t like that actress though.
I would have loved the blood typing scene though!
