PhotoTiki: Your Life in Pictures
// 7.3.08 // Filed under: Freedom & Politics, Link Love, Tech & Blogging
If you follow me on Twitter, you may have noticed some new tweets called “My Life in Pictures.” I’m experimenting with a new way to post photos without loading them to Flickr and then putting them on my blog. I like to keep my Flickr stream “clean,” using just my best photos. I don’t want photos of food or something funny I saw on the side of the road on Flickr. Some photos don’t warrant a blog post, but I want a quick way to photoblog without cluttering up my personal blog. So I’m trying PhotoTiki. It’s a neat app that lets you load a photo, or send directly from your phone, and then interact with other users who can comment on your photos.
The site is run by my friend Chris. Well, he’s my internet friend. He’s done some programming work for me and although we live 20 minutes from each other, we’ve never met in person. Shows ya how social I am. But on the internet? Very social! Chris is a smart guy, so go check out PhotoTiki and be sure to let me know if you sign up. I need some more friends there.
Have you subscribed to my blog yet? Please? Pretty please?

Thanks for the plug! I also rolled out an undocumented feature that lets you insert a widget that shows your list few pictures. Try inserting this in your code some where:
You can see a demo of it on my personal page.
Well, that didn’t work cause html got stripped. I added some info to the support page about it.
