I have a nasty case of writer’s block. I get an idea, then it completely fizzles out. I can’t even think of anything to write about not writing. It’s just not coming to me lately. I can’t even believe how painful it is just to get this post out. I’m literally breaking a sweat.
But. But. I have a new project on the horizon (yet again. it’s almost comical.) and I am working on two blog designs and a newsletter template for clients.
But the blogging? Not so much. So I’m going to go on a commenting spree. I’m generally pretty bad about commenting, and I’d like to get better at it. I’m also hoping commenting will spark some ideas for my own writing. I’d like to start by reading all of you who read me. So please leave a quick comment and just say “Visit me!” The CommentLuv plugin will pull your last post and I’ll head over to visit you.
Motivation is helpful, too. I just entered the Daily Blog Tips “Blogging Idol” competition. During the month of July more than 50 bloggers will be competing for the greatest gain in Feedburner subscribers. I could use $1,500. So if you’re thinking of subscribing to my blog’s feed, please come back on July 1st, k? Thx.
Oh, and I ordered some cool swag to give out at BlogHer! 28 days to go - so excited!

PHAT = Parenting, Homeschooling And Technology. That about sums up my life at the moment.

mornin’ Shannon. had a great time the other night.
reading the newspaper helps me get ideas. when I find an article or issue that catches my attention, I cut it out. then when I need something to post about, I go to the file.
good luck with the contest!

Monica, you are old school, girl! CUTTING stuff from a NEWSPAPER? I do the same, but online — bookmarking, clipmarking, etc. Except that I just don’t read enough… cuz, ya know, that ADD thing.

I know how you feel. Usually I take a look at my feedreader and read other blogger’s posts. Usually something interesting will come up as well as interesting ideas to write about.

I take a look at my google analytics and see what searches landed someone to my site. That always inspires a few posts.

Writers block? I get that all the time, and I’ve been hiding it well by ranting on about politics. That being said, I don’t know if that’s such a good thing sometimes. My political ranting gets rather…dare I say…heated.

Must be something about this time of year. I’m definately in a writers block. I can attest though that eventually it does go away. I’m big on just going for walks with the digital camera…. something will generally come along.

My last blog post is not very exciting, so don’t get too excited to follow it (though you are welcome to check out other things on my blog).
Good luck getting your mojo back up and going. It is hard sometimes, I agree.

I’ve just started a new blog, so I’ve got lots of ideas to write about, but when I was still using the old blog, I would get writers’ blocks all the time. Either that, or I would have an idea but be too lazy to write it all down.
