- The Vatican is at it again. Now it is apparently a sin to be wealthy. Tell me why “contributing to widening divide between rich and poor” and “excessive wealth” are sins, but refusing to better yourself and relying on the government (aka the taxes of the wealthy) to feed and house you is not a sin?

Excessive wealth is a sin?
I can’t help but laugh. Last time I checked, the Vatican isn’t exactly hurting for money.
That said, I am expecting the Vatican to empty its pockets completely by donating every single penny they have to charity.
