I use bloglines and Igoogle to keep up with blogs. The one thing neither of them has is the ability to read comments or to see how many comments have been made. That would be awesome.

Shannanb aka Mommy Bits's last blog post..Freaking out a Pregnant Woman...

I currently have a profile anywhere and everywhere... when things get busy i realize what is important to me, my google reader... that is where i am connected to my favorite sites. i use twitter, like it. i also have my blog being posted on sites like cafemom and mayasmom without even having to log in. i have the mybloglog... again it all comes back to my reader. i use myspace only for my real life mom friends, we have a group online we can stay connected and set up girls night outs!

i will have to check out the friend feed...

I'm, admittedly, a little overwhelmed with the social networking. I'm almost at the point where I'm going to turn off all the non-essential ones... but then I can't decide which ones are non-essential! I mean, I HATE MySpace, but I have like 400 friends, and how would I stay in touch with them if not through MySpace? Gah! There has GOT to be an easier way.

As far as FriendFeed, I think it's a good idea that needs a little help. Maybe some way to automatically track people and let the community add to people, like Spock.com, so that I don't have to manually add imaginary friends.

Sonja Foust's last blog post..Rules of Four

I have been experimenting a lot lately, and actually no one solution has fit the bill for me quite yet.

My latest experiment has been the Flock Browser, which promotes itself as the "Social Web Browser" it is based on the Mozilla Engine, and has a lot of neat tools in it to basically serve (from what I have seen) a similar role to Friend Feed. Unfortunately, it still has a few bugs, and some annoyances that I don't care for.

I have gathered information and people through MyBlogLog, Technorati, I follow my reads now through Google Reader, I love the share feature, which allows me to create links and pages to posts I like to share with others, if I could make the page (and not just a list of links) intergrate with my blog it would be perfect, but like every other solution it still falls short in some areas.

Like social networks, this "pull together" tools seem to run hot then not, everybody rushes to join, and then only some stay while the rest move on to the next latest and greatest.

For the time being, I am sticking with Google Reader, and several plugins to enhance FireFox... at least until the next thing I can try comes around.

JayMonster's last blog post..What is all the Hulu-baloo?

I'm using Spokeo to follow my friends, but I'm not sure how well it actually works.

I just started one on Tumblr the other day. Planning to stream it into its own page on my blog as a separate RSS. I just like the idea of having a 'junk drawer' for my blog if you will. Someplace to throw all the scraps I want to keep, but don't need their own big post.

SuburbanOblivio's last blog post..Open Letter to Victoria’s Secret

I use FriendFeed and I use it to sort through the best articles that have been written today or in the past week. Nice way to find new sites and articles to read especially since all of my friends on FriendFeed have the same tech interests as I do. I go straight to the web for FriendFeed. It's a little too messy for me to want to RSS it. I post a link to the services I use, other than that I don't have a widget that advertises it.

My wish list? Better organization of how the imported data is displayed (i.e groups), and a way to get comments on articles back to the original sites (not Twitter!). These are also things that would be useful to me so that I'm better able to keep up and filter out things.

Corvida's last blog post..Add RSSmeme To Your FeedBurner FeedFlare
