Rick Springfield was the first concert I attended without parental supervision. LOL! I was also a HUGE Van Halen fan - saw them in concert twice. Once with David Lee and once with Sammy. And what do I get? A 6 year old who HATES music. LOL At least my 16 month old is showing some promise. It sticks in my head like the "green acres" song or the "honeycomb" cereal commercial!!!!! It's nice to see families that really enjoy each other. Great move homeschooling! So far I only get to go to things like a Wiggles concert, which is pretty good to be honest, but at least if it is the latest pop sensation I can pretend it is someone else and I am still vaguely cool. Though to be honest, I didn't hear a word about the Jonas brothers until AFTER the concert, when my daughter saw them leaving the arena and "they waved to me, daddy" The tickets for that concert cost more than I think all the tickets I have ever bought to a concert for myself, but the she happiness it brought was well worth it.
