Swapping Books, CDs, DVDs Made Easy

I’ve got a bunch of video games, DVDs, and books I no longer need. They’ve been sitting in the closet for months and I keep telling myself I need to list them on Ebay. But it looks like my procrastination has paid off because today I got an email telling me about a web site called Swaptree. Swaptree allows you to get the books, CDs, DVDs, and video games you want for free, by trading the ones you have.

The service is simple to use. It takes 5 seconds to sign up and then you simply enter in the ISBN or UPC code from your product to list it. Swaptree goes to work finding someone who you can trade with. When you’re ready to mail your trade, they supply a shipping label with proper postage so you don’t even need to go to the post office. Sweet. I’m all about not having to leave my house to get things done.

I was disappointed that they do not seem to allow trading of VHS movies. I have several I’d love to trade. Another problem I ran into is with Game Boy Advance games. I have the game cartridges and instruction booklets, but did not save the outer boxes that has the UPC symbol, so I have no way to list them.
