Getting Better Everyday
// 9.17.07 // Filed under: My Daughter, My Son, Parenting, Thriving
Lately I feel like my life is getting better every day. I’m feeling terrific. Things are *really good* between me and my husband. My kids are getting older and more fun and manageable. I’m exercising. I’ve got some good business ideas that might really get off the ground. Our fall schedule and homeschooling plans have exceeded my expectations (more on this in the next post). I have super friends and family members.
And today we got a check for “property tax relief” (read: the government steals our money then sends us back a little and we’re supposed to be grateful) for $1000+.
Sweet.
This past weekend was my daughter’s 3rd birthday party. She is so adorable that I literally cannot suppress a giggle whenever I look at photos of her. (Looking at her in real life is a different matter, though, because she is usually either messy or mischievous or screaming that shrill scream that I really hate.)

This is great to hear, my dear. You do have a lot of great things to be thankful for. You forgot to add “I even occasionally get to have a babysitter so I can sit and bed and blog.” Really, that is the life!!

Thanks everyone! No, I can not take credit for the cake. I ordered everything out for this party. Much easier (and tastier).
