Gettin’ My Potty Trained

// 7.30.07 // Filed under: My Daughter, Parenting

My daughter: “Mommy, I don’t like getting my potty trained!”

Me: “Why not? You’re a big girl now!”

Daughter: “No, I’m not a big girl. I’m still little. Getting my potty trained is bad.”

Sorry, I’m going to have to agree with the kid – getting your potty trained sounds REAL bad – she’s very, very smart!

Sounds JUST like a little girl living in THIS house!

    Enjoy it! NOT! lol

It was so great to meet you, lady. I wish I we could have had more time to get to know you. I love your blog and the acronym. I have to tell you, you have the most beautiful eyes!

  5. LOL! I swear, I’m not sure who in our house hated potty training more – the parents or the kids. UGH!!! Seriously, our girls are two peas in a pod. In the earliest days of “talking potty” with Meg she pondered the concept for a moment and then informed me, “I’m just going to pee in my pull-up. I’ll be a big girl next year.” Great. Thanks.
