Dana & I pose for a photo before heading to dinner at Chicago’s Navy Pier. Then I ditched all my new friends to go see Harry Potter in the IMAX theater. Yeah. I’m a dork like that.

My daughter: “Mommy, I don’t like getting my potty trained!”
Me: “Why not? You’re a big girl now!”
Daughter: “No, I’m not a big girl. I’m still little. Getting my potty trained is bad.”

I arrived in Chicago around 12:30pm Friday, then it took me nearly 3 hours to get to the hotel, change and get to the BlogHer conference. I missed most of the day one sessions - but got to the cocktail party!

I’m starting to pack for BlogHer and I’m thinking to myself, “Why can’t someone invent an all-purpose charger/USB cord?” I have cords for my laptop, my phone, my iPod, my camera battery charger and my camera. Sheesh. There’s potential here for some inventor to seriously cash in.
