Clipmarks Rocks
I recently posted about a couple new blog tools I’ve been using and a reader suggested in the comments that I also check out Clipmarks. A big thanks to that commenter because I am just LOVING Clipmarks.
Clipmarks is an add-on browser tool that allows you to “clip” a section of an article or blog post that you find interesting and save it to your own folder(s) of clips. You can add your own commentary, make your clip public or private, email it to someone, or even publish it to your blog. Instead of publishing my clips to my blog, I’ve decided to add their “ClipRoll” sidebar widget (scroll down a bit - it’s in the left column) which displays links to my clips. Installation is easy and adds only a small paper-clip icon to your browser toolbar. The Clipmarks home page shows the latest clips, as well as the clips that have been recently “popped” (given a thumbs up by a reader).
I have been happily clipping away for the past week. I love this tool because it allows me to quickly and easily save something that I may want to research more or blog about, and it helps spread link love by pointing other readers to info on the web that I find interesting. Kudos to the creators for this great tool. Check it out for yourself.

I tried this yesterday, using the clip-to-blog function, and it is pretty cool. My readers (who’ve commented so far) seem to like it, too. Thanks for the tip.
