Placemats from Greeting Cards

I found this cool idea at Parent Hacks: Have your kids arrange their valentines, birthday cards, holiday cards, etc between two pieces of clear contact paper to make a placemat. It’s a fun way to save special cards and it might be interesting to save the placemats and pull them out again when the kids are older.

I would like to invite you to participate in a research study of parenting views and practices. Dr. Kim White-Mills and Dr. Catherine Dobris of IUPUI (both are moms) are interested in understanding what sources parents find useful in their parenting practices, how parents use different parenting information, and what views parents across the county hold regarding parenting issues.

To access this survey, go to http://www.iupui.edu/~momviews/

I wish I’d seen this before I tossed all those valentines (and candy). I’m going to remember this for the next occasion.

That’s so cute. My mom saved all mine in a scrapbook… but I like that idea too.
