Our Big Snowfall

We had our first snowfall this weekend. I’m not sure it even qualifies as a snowfall, but the kids were psyched to get out and play with that 1/4 inch.

She couldn’t wait to get outside.

Trying out the new “Snoballer” - which makes perfect snowballs!

Just having fun!

Seriously though, this winter has been pathetic. I think we need to move further north. Or west. Or maybe we’ll win the HGTV Dream Home in Winter Park, Colorado.

How wonderful! Here in Portugal in the West Coast it doesn’t snow, so I cannot take pictures of joy like yours. I hope I can go soon to our only “Sierra” in the country with snow so that my kids can play and make snow balls.

It has been pathetic, hasn’t it? I want some knee-deep snow that we will want to play in until our faces are cherry red and our mittens crusted with icy chunks. It wasn’t even worth signing up for the homeschool snowboard club this year.

Let me know when we can come visit in the new Dreamhouse.

You know me… I’m very happy with NO snow. I’d be thrilled if this were it for winter this year. But that snoballer is VERY cool. Where did you get it? My boys would love one.

From my boys: please, please, please tell my mommy where you got the snowballer!!

I’d love to know and so would my poor hands that always get cold and wet. We’re loving the snow here as it came quite late. Of course check back in two months then we’ll be wishing it was leaving early!

I’ve had several requests about the snoballer, so here is the web site where I purchased it:

Imagine the Challenge. They sell for $8.95, and a friend of mine found them for about $4 on ebay.
