Our New Baby

Not that I ever refer to my car as my baby, but if you have a spouse who researches incessantly and loves the thrill of bargaining for a good deal, you might understand how excited I am to finally bring this baby home:

2007 Toyota 4Runner
Winning, Losing, Praising
Ice and Illness Does Not Equal Exercise
Things I Want to Remember

Very nice! Congratulations.
How awesome! I know you have been eager for this day;what a great vehicle. Two words come to mind- ROAD TRIP!
Terrific! Use it in good health.. My mom used to put a small red bow/ribbon on the rearview mirror inside the car for good luck.
So is that the Phat Car? or the Phat Mobile?
Judy – that is a tradition in our family with the red ribbon! My husband’s grandmother has given us red ribbons for every new car and also for every new crib or bed. She says it keeps us safe and keeps the “evil eye” away!
What a beautiful baby it is! Congratulations!
Congratulations on the new vehicle. Have you given it a name?
We have a similar tradition with the red ribbon. It goes on everything related to our kids to bring good luck and health. It goes back a number of generations.
May you drive your truck in the best of health for many years to come.
