New Toys!

I love this time of year. This is when PHAT Daddy & I analyze our finances and see how the business has done for the year. Then I start lobbying for new toys. Then we decide what needs to be upgraded or replaced.

Today I bought this sweeter than sweet Motorola Q smartphone. It’s a phone. And a camera. But wait! It’s also a video camera. And I can check email and access the internet. And? I can plug it into my laptop and use the broadband access to get online anywhere. Not that I’ll use some of these features all that often, but it’s really cool knowing I can. I could sit and play with this thing for days. (If you’re in the market for a phone, there is a rebate offer on the Q right now that makes it very reasonably priced.)

We’re also getting an iMac, which is quite exciting for me because this will be my first Mac. I’ve always been a Windows gal. Some people totally stress about new computers and gadgets, but I love learning and exploring new technologies. I’m sure that in a parallel universe I am some sort of IT wiz and web designer extraordinaire. I so missed my calling.
