Jai Got the Shaft

Fess up people. Who the HELL voted for Hal Sparks over Jai Rodriguez????? You people are twisted. (Twisted, get it? Twisted Sister, Dee Snider? Ha. Ha-ha.)
I got caught up in Celebrity Duets because I am totally in love with Lucy Lawless. Xena, Warrior Princess was one of my favorite shows, and I saw Lucy in Grease on Broadway twice. I’m also thoroughly enjoying all the musicians who come on to duet with the celebrity contestants. I’m still waiting for Barry Manilow to appear, but maybe he’s too busy with his Vegas show. Manilow singing with Lawless? I’d be beside myself.
Next week is the big finale where one celebrity will win $100,000 for their favorite charity. And last week Jai Rodriguez (of “Queer Eye” fame) got voted off. There were tears in his eyes and you could see that he was really crushed. I was stunned. There’s no way Hal Sparks is a better singer than Jai. Hal better be kissing Dee Snider’s feet because, in my opinion, Dee saved his ass.
In a way, it’s good though because eliminating Jai makes it easier for the lovely Lucy to win. Tell me, oh loyal PHAT Mommy readers, if you watch Celebrity Duets, who is your pick to win?
PHAT = Parenting, Homeschooling And Technology. That about sums up my life at the moment.

Not watching, but thought you might want to know that Lucy Lawless is signed for I believe the first 10 episodes of Battlestar Galactica this season.

We only watched the first week, and cracked up at Chris Jericho and Cheech…what were they thinking? We love Xena here as well, or, the girls love Xena. I’ll have to remember to vote!

I haven’t been watching faithfully, and it’s a good thing because I would’ve thrown something at the TV if I was watching when Jai got booted over Hal Sparks. Grrr.
P.S. You kind of resemble Lucy Lawless!
And my mom would DIE if Barry was on the show.
