Cruisin’!

4-4-06Cruise.jpgC is officially cruising! After the physical therapist worked with her yesterday, she’s started pulling up on the table and sofa and walking right along. We’ve decided to increase her therapy to every week, since she responds better to the therapist than me at this point. She loves it when Louise comes with all her special toys. So I’m feeling a little better about this situation.

L has started Little League practice and it’s been wonderfully uneventful. When you have a child who’s been reserved and sensitive for so long, you keep waiting for the meltdown when you move into a new experience. He has been a little extra cranky on practice days and I know it’s because of nerves. Other than that, it’s been smooth sailing. He just came home, all excited about getting two hits. I can’t wait to see him all dressed in his uniform. I’ll probably cry. He’s growing up. Someday when he reads this blog or the scrapbooks I make, I want him to know that he fills my heart with joy and pride. I love you, buddy.

Tonight C and I had a peaceful dinner while L & Dad were at baseball practice. It was REALLY nice to eat my meal without having to jump up 5 times to get something for the kids. C and I thoroughly enjoyed our pasta with parmesan bacon sauce – something the men of our house would NEVER eat. :-)

Hooray for Leia!! OMG she is sooo cute! I just want to squeeze those cheeks. Luke is going to be so handsome in his uniform. Please post one. He should come out of his shell quickly with sports. Not like I’m an expert though…my kid was born wide-slap-open! No shyness there…wonder where he gets that from?? Ha!

Congrats Leia! What a great accomplishment. Glad she’s finding success and here’s to much, much more.

Yeah Leia! Good for you. Next time, though, remember it’s not nice to make Mamma worry.
