Increasing Blog Traffic

A little diversion today from the usual topics.

I’m working on increasing traffic to both my blogs. I’ve found a new site that has an innovative idea: http://site-swap.blogspot.com Site Swap posts two blogs each day and asks you to answer a question about them. When you respond (via comment), you post your blog link and the owner of the site will choose your blog to feature on another day. Sounds complicated the way I am describing it, but it’s not. It’s your basic traffic exchange with a new twist.

Another site I find really fun is Michele’s. Her entire blog is devoted to sharing opinions and exchanging blog traffic. She posts several times a day.

For traditional traffic exchange, I’m currently using BlogExplosion, BlogClicker, and BlogTraffic. So far, Blog Explosion is my favorite, but I just started using BlogTraffic so I haven’t fully assessed them.

My question: What traffic-generating sites/tools work for you?

Just checking in…I have been away from blog land for a bit. Enjoyed all your traffic on Stossel’s report…I must say, his statistics more than stifle those who ask me how I could think I could do as well as public schools!

Strategically placed web cams and nude photos help…hee! Just kidding!
