Thanks to everyone who played. I found this very fun!

1. I was on my high school diving team and once hit the diving board face-first.
True. I managed to push myself away and fall into the water, but I scraped my cheek and chipped a tooth. My coach made me get right back up on the board and do the dive again so I wouldn’t be afraid.

2. At age 16, I threw up after drinking several wine coolers and have not touched a wine cooler since.
True. It was the first time I ever drank alcohol. Ah, what fond memories…

3. I was a member of two sororities in college - one social, one academic.
True.

4. I learned to ski at age 22.
True. And I totally love it.

5. I am a Barry Manilow fan.
True! Ha, I can’t believe how many people thought this was false. C’mon is he really so bad??

6. I have been arrested.
True. In college, two officers knocked on my dorm room door and read me my miranda rights. I had let someone borrow my car earlier that night and this person decided to “dine and dash” at a local restaurant. The restaurant manager got my license plate number as my car sped away. I led the officers to the guilty party and I was never formally charged with anything.

7. I was first runner up in a beauty pageant.
True. I tap-danced for the talent competition and won a $500 college scholarship.

8. I once dyed a white strip of hair down either side of my head (resembling a skunk).
True. I’ve done just about everything to my hair except shave it all off.

9. I have played the flute for the Governor of New York State.
True. In Jr. High our band played at the State Building and I have a photo autographed by the Governor. Or, at least I used to have a photo. I have no idea where it is now.

10. I went to high school with Mariah Carey.
False. But my college roommate did go to high school with her and said she was kinda quiet and trashy.

11. I have tried crack.
False.

12. I have shoplifted.
True. I was 16 and stupid.

13. I have spoken face-to-face with the lead singer of Cheap Trick.
True. I waited outside the club during their sound check and when he came out, I said hi and asked him to play a song for me. I didn’t, however, ask for a photo or an autograph because the other “dorks” were doing that. I was way too cool for that shit.

14. I love to gamble at casinos.
True. Roulette is my favorite, although you’ve got way better odds playing craps.

15. I am a published author.
True. I co-wrote “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Online Health and Fitness,” in addition to many magazine and newspaper articles.

16. I will watch any movie with Antonio Bandares in it.
False. The only movie I have seen with him in it is Spy Kids.

17. I ran a fantasy football league for two years.
True. Those were the good old days when I could actually spend a Sunday watching football.

18. I love swimming in the ocean.
False. Ick. I’m a pool girl.

19. I have my belly button pierced.
False.

20. I love disco.
True. Donna Summer especially. Now that’s music you can dance to.
