And The Oscar Goes To?

We just saw the movie “Closer.” Interesting. A bit bizarre. I have absolutely no interest in Jude Law. I rented the movie because I hadn’t seen Natalie Portman in anything other than Star Wars. She was good.

For this week’s Friday Five, please give me some movie recommendations!

1. What is your favorite action movie?
I can’t pick a favorite. Star Wars, The Matrix

2. What is the worst movie you’ve ever seen?
When a Man Loves a Woman. Oh. My. God. So. Bad.

3. Do you prefer comedy or drama?
Drama. Sci Fi is my absolute favorite. But it’s a really close call - I like comedy, too.

4. Recommend a good tear jerker:
Pay It Forward. Awesome.

5. What movie are you looking forward to seeing soon?
Star Wars Ep III on DVD when it’s out in November.

    1. I could never pick one favorite. I love the Star Wars movies. Also 12 Monkeys.

    2. Worst movie: Mission Impossible II

    3. I generally prefer drama/action, I think, though I love a good comedy too. Depends on my mood.

    4. Tear-jerker: The Sweet Hereafter or Dumbo (doesn’t matter how many times I’ve seen it… I always cry at Dumbo)

    5. I can’t wait to see Serenity (based on Joss Whedon’s Firefly TV series). It opens the end of this month. Firefly was a GREAT show, so I suspect the movie will be awesome. Lance and I will definitely be cashing in some babysitting for that one!

Trixie stole every single one of my answers. All five. That’s exactly what I would have written, except adding Raiders Of The Lost Ark to answer number one.

Not that anyone asked, but my favorite overall movie is A Man For All Seasons.
