Loose Teeth and Long Hair

Yikes - haven’t blogged in over a week! Well, here’s what’s been happening…

1. L & I cleared weeds and old bushes from the front of the house and planted a perennial flower garden! It is going to be so beautiful in a couple years when it all fills in.
2. We saw Star Wars. Twice. I need a full blog posting to discuss this incredible movie. I am having dreams (the good kind!) about Obi-Wan and Anakin.
3. PHAT Daddy’s computer went on the fritz. Twice. Two trips to the computer repair shop and lots of wasted time. Hopefully we are back in business now.
4. We have been eating entirely too much Burger King as we attempt to collect all 31 of those Star Wars toys. More to blog on this later…
5. C is still sleeping/waking erratically. She was down to waking only once per night, but now is back to three times… ?
6. We’ve been to the gym two more times!
7. L has two loose teeth and wants to grow his hair long like Anakin Skywalker’s. I don’t think I was prepared for how these two events would affect me. It’s a bittersweet joy. He’s becoming more independent and asking to do/have things of his own free will (as opposed to me suggesting a certain toy, game, activity, hairstyle, etc.) . He talked to a friend on the phone the other day (!!!). I see these changes and flash forward to his teen years. What will those years bring?

Parenting is such a wild, wonderful ride.
